Since the semi-annual LAN was coming up and I was travelling abroad, the concept only grew in my head and all pieces were pre-ordered to be available for assembly 24 hours before the actually LAN-party gathering So in the end I had to compromise on some details but all in all think it's a decent result for 24 hours of building effort. I have been building gaming PCs ever since Quake 1 was released, but they were all purely driven by performance and noise-reduction. This game series really got my attention and built the foundation of every LAN-party back in the days It's almost 20 years since Quake 1 was released by ID Software.
